VERSATILE PE PIPING SYSTEMS FOR WATER & WASTE WATER

Parixit Offers a Wide range of PE Piping systems & fittings to offer complete solutions for building Water & Waste Networks complying to various National & International standards. Pipe range offered covers sizes from 20mm O.D. to 1000 mm O.D. using PE63/PE80/PE100 HDPE/MDPE 100% virgin resin as raw material coupled with world-class manufacturing &testing process with Pressure Class from PN 2.5 to PN25 for various applications.

BENEFITS OF PE PIPES
LOWER LIFE CYCLE COSTS LOWER INSTALLATION COSTS
Life span of 50-100 years Light weight - easy to handle &transport
Resistance to corrosion and abrasion No heavy equipments for installation
'C' value over 150 throughout service life Longer delivery lengths - Less fittings
Excellent water hammer characteristics Flexibility - installation over bends with no additional joints
Reduced surge pressures --
Leak free joints and lower maintenance --
Resistance to incrustation & Scale formation --
Lower pumping costs --

PE PIPES JOINTING TECHNIQUES

1) PERMANENTJOINT

• Butt Fusion Process
Butt Fusion jointing is carried out to join 2# lengths of Polyethylene Pipes, of any size, by heating the pipe ends and fusing them under pressure. Butt Jointing Machine ( Hydraulic or Manual) is used to carry out jointing of pipes.

• Electro-fusion Process
Electro fusion jointing is carried out through use of Electro-fusion fittings. For joining the Pipe ends, Electro-fusion coupler is used which has in built electrical filament wires which are connected to controlled electrical supply. Due to generation of heat, coupler gets fused with pipes giving reliable strong joint. It is possible to join dissimilar polyethylene pipes and wall thickness by using Electro-fusion process.

2) DETACHABLE JOINTS

• Flanged Joints
Flanged Joint is carried out with the help of HDPE Collars (LNPE) which are butt welded to the pipe and making use of M.S. Flanges to effect a joint. Flanged Joint is used for detachable joints, for connecting sluice voles, air release valves or fire hydrants. They are also used for joining two pipes of different materials.

• Compression Fittings
Compression Fittings are generally suitable for Pipe sizes <90mm O.D. They are quick &easy fit type without requiring Fusion machine and offer leak proof detachable joints. These are tested as per ISO 14236: 2000 and are suitable for coupling, bends, tees, PE to PE , PE to Metal , connection to valves, water meters etc
